Question: Why did you choose to be a Senior Lecturer?

It is part of the job progression when working at a university. I first started working at a university to make sure I had a steady income that would fit alongside my consultancy work. I wanted to buy a house so to get a mortgage you have to show that you have regular income and when you are self-employed, as I am for the consultancy stuff with athletes, that is really difficult to prove. I started at university as just a lecturer and then got promoted to senior lecturer after a couple of years
